Welcome.
This on-line gallery showcases the works of award winning Australian
artist Jane McKay. Her works are included in a number of private and public
collections in Australia and overseas. McKay's paintings are abstractions
of the landscape, responses to the open spaces which reveal existential themes.
The expressive marks are indispensable details of the natural world and the
colour is woven into a dense surface plane of abstraction. The paintings strive
beyond the boundaries of logic and explore the sublime. Jane McKay also designs
and makes sculptures and jewellery.
Jane McKay exhibits regularly
